Five Promises & Rituals for your next chapter
Five years is not a loud milestone. Rather, it's a quiet moment in which you pause briefly – and realize what has remained.
We therefore didn't want to "celebrate" this anniversary in the way one ticks something off a list, but rather in the way one consciously marks something: as a transition, as a threshold, as a new chapter.
And we noticed something: The number 5 is not just a number. It is a symbol.
The number 5 – balance, senses, center
In many spiritual traditions, the number 5 represents balance and wholeness: the five senses that bring us back into the body – and the idea of the five elements that keep everything in motion.
The number 5 doesn't sound like "more". It sounds like direction.
Seeing. Hearing. Feeling. Smelling. Tasting. When we are truly present, it is often exactly that: a moment in which the senses soften again – and we don't ignore ourselves.
Perhaps that's exactly why a 5-year anniversary fits so well with our idea of care: not as perfection, but as a ritual that brings you back to yourself in everyday life.
Here are our five promises – each accompanied by a small pampering ritual. Not as a rule, but rather as an invitation.
Promise 1: Substance over hype
(Earth element – for stability)
Earth is the element that doesn't argue. It carries. It holds. It makes things reliable.
Trends come and go quickly. But skin calmness rarely results from constant change.
We believe in formulations that are allowed to prove their worth. In care that provides stability. In results that don't shout about it – but endure.
Mini-ritual (30 seconds):
Place one hand briefly on your cheek. Take one deep breath in and out. Then ask yourself: Does my skin need activity today – or protection?
The answer is often quieter than you think.
If you want to translate this promise as a feeling of care: Sometimes the most earthy thing you can do is not "more", but consistent.
A stable base that you actually use up – instead of constantly changing it. For example, a stabilizing treatment like the Skin Repair Cream.
Little mantra: "I choose stability."
Promise 2: Rituals that don't overwhelm you
(Water element – for softness)
Water represents flow. It represents that which is allowed to dissolve without you having to fight for it.
For softness – and for the fact that not everything has to be "fixed" immediately.
Some routines are so complex that they themselves trigger stress. And stress is often first visible on the skin.
Our idea of self-care is not "just another task". It's small. Repeatable. Comforting.
Mini-ritual (2 minutes):
Wash your face with lukewarm water – but do it mindfully. Listen to the sound. Feel the temperature. Let your breath deepen.
Then gently dry your skin and stand still for a moment – as if you were rinsing the day off your face.
If you really want to soften up the evening: A moisturizing mask is like a smooth transition.
The Aloe Vera Mask stands for exactly this feeling of calm. & cool.
Little mantra: "I am allowed to soften."
Promise 3: We listen – especially to your skin
(Element of air – for perception)
Air is the element of subtle signals. You can't see them – but you immediately feel their absence.
It's exactly the same with what your skin shows you: quietly, but clearly.
Not every skin type needs the same thing. And not every day feels the same.
We want to continue creating products and content that help you read signals – instead of covering them up.
Because perception is the most elegant form of care.
Mini-ritual (1-2 minutes):
Open a window briefly – or simply stand in a quiet place.
Take three conscious breaths. Each time, exhale for a little longer than you inhale.
Then look in the mirror – not for “flaws”, but rather like you observe the weather:
- Tension?
- Redness?
- Dryness?
- Fatigue?
Don't solve anything. Don't judge anything. Just perceive what is today.
Little mantra: "I'm listening."
Promise 4: We believe in touch
(Element of Fire – for energy at rest)
Fire is warmth. Presence. That small, inner "on" that is not hectic.
Not the fire that drives – but the fire that orders.
Touch is our favorite ritual for this: because it has an immediate effect – not as a promise, but as a feeling.
And because it brings the skin (and often the head) back to the moment.
Mini-ritual (4–6 minutes): Liquid Youth oil + touch to wind down the evening
1) Heat
Rub your hands together to warm them up and briefly place your palms on your cheeks.
2) Oil
2–3 drops Liquid Youth Oil Pour into your hands and gently press onto face and neck.
3) Touch
Apply light pressure – always from the inside out:
- Jaw line: from chin towards ear
- Cheeks: from the center outwards
- Forehead: from the inside out
4) Fading down
Place your hands on your cheeks again – and exhale slowly three times.
Little mantra: "I bring energy back – without pressure."
Promise 5: We will remain honest – and grateful
(Element Ether – for meaning)
Ether is the element that cannot be grasped – and yet it is what holds everything together:
Meaning. Direction. Attitude.
The feeling of why you do something in the first place.
When we say "5 years", we don't just mean ourselves. We mean you.
Your messages. Your questions. Your recommendations. Your trust.
Mini-ritual (15 seconds):
Write down one word: “This year I am choosing…”
And keep it small.
If you want to give yourself or someone else a small ritual: This Self Love Mask Set It's like a silent spa kit for your home.
Little mantra: "I'm choosing my next chapter."
One last thought
Perhaps that is the most beautiful meaning of an anniversary: that one not only looks back – but consciously moves forward.
If you only do one thing tonight: Do it slowly. And noticeably.
Thank you for being there. For every ritual. For every act of trust.
Here's to the next chapters. With substance. With calm. With you.
